Sara Sutton was born in London and raised above a family run decorators merchants in Finsbury Park and Holloway. Always playing with paint charts and mixing tints into paint from a young age, thus she began a life long love for colour and an artist was born.

Influenced by urban art, Sutton paints free hand using oil paints onto canvas to create graffiti effect on most of her iconic images. The tube and themes from London subcultures feature heavily in Sutton's work from her early paintings and throughout her career.

She has collaborated with musicians from bands including Blondie and The Specials and has had commissions form Ricky Wilson form The Kaiser Chiefs.

Sutton produces both Pop art and photorealist pieces which have been exhibited and sold worldwide.
