ANGELA MORRIS-WINMILL

Angela Morris-Winmill, Australian born (1969) and a Londoner since 1994 is a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for seeing beauty in the old, worn, used and discarded. Having grown up enjoying nature and wild camping in Australia, Angela's love of skulls and adorning them was born in her teens. Her previous career as a fashion designer influences her colour compositions and textural choices when it comes to embellishing as well as her love of pop art and modern contemporary art.

Gold and silver leaf, diamond dust, and highly pigmented acrylics are her favourite mediums to adorn the skulls, paying the utmost respect to the animal. Angela's sculptures and limited edition prints are held in private collections throughout 20 counties across all continents. She has featured in Huffington Post, named Artspers Magazine top 10 Artists to watch, shortlisted for the R.A Summer Exhibition, Shown at Threadneedle Prize, Mall Galleries, The Affordable Art fair, Battersea, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair to name a few.  Angela has held successful solo shows in London, and exhibits with several galleries throughout the UK.
